nennen go for it, last time i had the chance to listen to jack's subaru in singapore when he changed from single 8" in door to double 6.5" it was really really good.  he also regretted why he never did it earlier....

SS 15W requires only 4litres of enclosure space compare to 18W which requires about 11litres (if I am not mistaken). If you want to have good (low) bass with the bass drivers installed on the doors, you need to have sealed enclosure to prevent doors rattling.
