Just an Idea for all of us benefit..

1) Should we register Ice Hifi as our main club? Under Non profitable associate
2) Should we collect some entrance & yearly fee? to raise fund
a) Entrance - RM90
b) Yearly - RM50
- This Fund we can use for alot activitie like each year we can send 3/4 person to visit ICE factory to avoid rumours, International Autoshow & etc
- Yearly dinner, trips around malaysia which mean outside ICE activity
- Organize Competition
3) Should we have our own Panel installer? which can get some discount
- KF Audio, zenn
- Megasound, Jumat
- ACP, NHP
- SoundQuest, Devil
- KK Lau, Elaine Ho
Could this name can arrange for us.. panel installer should not limited, should have northen/southen/klang valley/east region & can be divide by district

Once you register with ROS, a club need to accept payment, a minimum amount or something.

Then, we gotta hold AGM, EGM... President, VP, and the works, we need auditors...

Sorry, I am not keen as a registered club. Ken created this as hobby purpose, which I strongly support his initial objective and gave my upmost respect and morale support.

Installer wise, I guess any installer is willing to give certain amount of discount for club, be it register or otherwise. I mean, I can arrange for that to happen.

Seriously, no offence mates.

I've seen once too many of these registered club went sours, all becoz of $$$.

Which I really hate to be involved. I was once involved in this "conflict", I took a big turn and get out immediately, distance myself from this "kid". It was ugly, I never wanna get into this type of stuffs
anymore. I hope this won't happen here.

small fry's opinion: i am inclined to feel that we should not do this. it has a way of complicating things, creating or bringing up hidden agendas, people second guessing each other, assuming the worse of each other, turning friends against each other, etc.

what i am not saying: making a formal club will definitely make things worse.

what i am saying: making a formal club might make things worse. the question: do we want to take the risk?

I must admit honestly that OSB proposal is sexy .... ;)

The collection of monies for activities such as bridging of bonds
is truly encouraged . However ... where monies is concerned it
can be highly destructive . Money can BUILD as well as to DESTROY
whatever was built . For the time being I would suggest deferment
of this idea temporarily .

Where the need arises , it shall be done at an ad hoc basis to such
activity as visiting an ICE factory . In the meanwhile , shore
up the coffer for possible opportunities . Hahaha ..... postpone
upgrade if necessary :D

And ..... ada paspot ka :P

manage to meet 2 President club.. according to them manage the club not to difficult, the most difficult is manage the members coz same hobby doesn't mean same attitude.. O0

committee still within control, member woorr... just example this A have bad attitude or suddenly lost his mind.. if A drove a car & suddenly involve minor accident with B.. A hentam B until half die.. B make police report, After police investigation found out A is member to C&D Club.. than U know laa.. what happen.. this & that ppl come in.. this & that letter need to answer, somemore got dateline also & etc loor..

Eerrr... Members are easier to control. Cos whatever their action do not reflect highly on the club eventho the members is carrying the club insignia. Tho there maybe certain parties who thinks this is not the case, but if the members is not carrying out club's duties at that moment of the accident, the club cannot be taken action of.
