Cheap Polyfill Source
« on: April 08, 2007, 11:08:00 PM »
Just in case anyone are looking for polyfill for filling up their subwoofer enclosures, i noticed that Tesco is having a promotion of RM9.90 for a pair of polyster filled pillows, promotion valid until Wednesday i guess, a very cheap and easy option to get polyfill for the enclosures, though... you MUST open up the pillow before stuffing in.

Just sharing ;)

Haha... i think i heard that joke about stuffing the whole pillow inside before as well  /152

loon1031, polyfill is part of tuning the subwoofer, adding polyfill will make the sub thinks it's in a slightly bigger box than it really is, but it requires some trial and error to get the right response and also depends on your sub and box.

mmm, I have mentioned many times previously in other posts.

For cheap polyfill, I got mine in JUSCO.

Go to the section selling sewing goods and they sell polyfill by the bag for RM5.90. One bag is easily quivalent to 4-5 pillows.

I saw it there a few months ago... so it should still be available.
