no problem built...error typing onli

after all, if we do some basic calculation fr 2.3- fl 1.1 = 1.2...is it same like just tweaking fr onli....hehe...just asking

but i'll definitely try at 1.00 pm... /62

thanks panzer

hello all, i just installed a 9835, kinda new with all these TA, so just now i just main main with the TA, set the FR, 1.2ms.. somehow u can here the vocal at the center but some others like kick drums or high pitch sounds still comes from the right and left and what not, but from my hearing, when TA is used, the tonality or the quality becomes a little bit dull, i like it better when TA is 0. i dont know. that is my point of view. still newbie.. tunjuk ajarku sifuuuu.. hahaha

usually when u start playing with TA your tonality will suffer a bit as the phase is changing..

u mean? they will suffer only in the beginning.. or our ears will get used to it?

Your ears will get used to it, but if you are picky enough, you would know that it does not sound right. TA would in almost every instance effect tonality, just as Zenn said, your phase changes. Spot on center image is not the only thing that matters when you begin tuning, you may have a nicely placed centered singer with a band the size of a dinner plate or a drum set placed at the back of the soundstage but the cymbals are place way infront and almost in your face, this is  because, when you TA, you will introduce spikes and valleys in the frequency spectrum as well. Thus TA will go hand in hand with EQ. If you are running passive, it would be harder for you to get everything almost right because of this.

Long way to go, take it slow, take it easy...

if you are a newbie as you have called yourself, i suggest you
optimize your current passive setup before you try active.

i have know a few killer cars that are running passive.
