Dry-cell MF batteries?
« on: January 22, 2007, 04:23:56 PM »
Anyone know where can i source for dry-cell maintainence-free batteries in NS60 or NS60L sizing here in Klang Valley? Most MF batteries are still acid-based and am looking for dry-cell type or even better, gel-based type.

Thanks in advance. :)

p/s: Anyoner have any ideas if the Bosch MF ones are dry-cell or just regular acid?

Dry cell batteries are very expensive. I used the Odyssey PC680MJT on the SP more for lightweight purposes. Batt only weight 7kg but cost >600 bucks.

Thanks for the info. I've actually heard there's a brand called Delkor which is based on dry-cell tech, but can hardly find them. I guess i'll have to settle for a Bosch MF unit soon as the car had been left aside for a couple of days.

BTW, don't mind PM me your MSN? Thought of adding u there ;D

I'm using Delkor (Delphi Korea). It's a conventional lead acid sealed MF batt. No thanks on the MSN.

Hm... guess i was wrong about Delkor then although i read in AW forums that they were of the dry cell type. Nevermind then, i guess i'll have to just get the Bosch.
