would you know what are the differences
between MP74 and MP76?

saw,
an installer quoted the MP74 to me including 3 times tuning
sometime ago at 3.5K (which was out of my budget then).
they said that the tuning is quite complicated. were they
trying to pull a fast one?

The MP74 has the capability of running dual antennas for better radio reception, hence the "2nd antenna connection"

Not too sure on this though, i mean the dual antenna jack, i think it's probably specially for the MP74 as i have other Blaupunkt before but don't remember them having dual jacks.

Yes. The HU has an internal amp which can be switched off if unused.

From what I know MP76 has a different all black colour (similar to Seattle MP74) with Bluetooth feature. HU development is really going in the wrong direction. Sigh.

Bro,

The Bremen has a 2nd separate antenna. What the receiver does is to compare the signal quality btw the car's stock antenna with this antenna and then inter/extrapolate the signals to get the best reception. Has to be heard to be believed.

No.. only the MP74 and the latest MP76 Bremen has this feature.

The tuning is quite extensive as the EQ has many bands. Not too much difficulty if you have the time and patience. Like any HU/processor with too many bands the tuning can be at times overwhelming if you don't know what you are doing

Audited the Bremen at CT2 Bayan Baru in 2 different cars with different set up. Like llsaw's review, I like the warmth and yet the details are there. The only downside is that its a bit expensive than its Alpine/Pioneer rivals
