After having a standard setup, what's next?
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:09:42 PM »
sifu-sifu, all the jedi masters, old bird, old timers, gurus etc etc...

let's say if a standard setup (component in front, subwoofer at the back with one 4 channel or a pair of 2 channel amp) is up. What's next in order to get the best out of the setup without adding any other pre-amps (equalizer/processor etc). metal ring? dampening? tuning?

Do more tuning to see where your system's wekness/areas of improvement are then decide on a follow up action...

if you are happy with the sound your system is
producing, then you don't have to do anything.

haha, change so many... that's gonna result a big hold in my pocket

I'm not quite happy with my mids, as it's mounted on the weak plastic door panel. Now considering to do a mod to mount it on the door.
