If you watch Burlesque, with visually stunning Christina Aguilera removing/putting on her stockings and singing with plenty of emotions, itu lah the kind of soundstage I look forward to.  /77 But if we are listening to a recording, especially one that was done in the studio, there is practically nothing interesting about it. What's more important like craziechild pointed out is the tonality that we must get right first before reaching actual enjoyment.  /64

Ever consider the physical height of the person? The soundstage will be different should a shorter guy audit the system or vise versa...right!

Our ears are not so sensitive with the "height", which means as long as you are sitting on the exact point, the height difference will not/slightly affect the accuracy, however it will change drastically if you move the seat forward or backward, or swing your head left right...

btw, TA its actually a simple technique to gain center image, if a tuner doesnt really know how to play with TA, then he will definitely not getting an accurate tonality which involves much complicating factor and know-how, vice versa if a tuner can find out the perfect tonality which has no cancellation and so on, then staging is just a matter of want or not~

if the 'stereo' recording made the vocal is center, then a standard 'stereo' system should to appear。
even what brand highend equitment if cant get the stereo sound effect, just listen the sound either 1 side, there is nothing 'good sound' can say.
some frequency if cant reach our both ears with same timing,we will feel sharp as higher frequency or booming in lower frequency.

same question:
even the vocal already tuned to center ,but the image is smaller then a ping pong ball(either any music, any recording),the instrument like piano sounds like children masak masak, and the volume is very low cant go loud, then there is no 'sound quality' can say.
the small small image and volumes can easy find in few hundred ringgits table mini combo, plug and play.
(some one told me this effect means very deep sound stage, but i m just feel i m standing out side the room and looking where is the singer)

we are listen a recording cd,pls dont using live feeling compare to a stereo cd.
correct me if i m wrong, and sorry about broken english.
