Is Genesis still in business???
« on: September 05, 2011, 02:42:06 PM »
I was looking for information on Genesis amp and I came across their official blog indicating that they closed shop since Aug 2010 but there are words mentioning they are back.

So are they still closed shop or back in business???

What I heard is their production line is closed. And all existing stock is being snapped up by distributors and sold at ridiculous prices. Company is still around.

I found a Genesis S3 5 channel but not sure if I should get it since the company is "not" around anymore.

What do you guys think?

generally, not advisable to bridge multichannel amps to drive fronts.

try to contact the previous distri here in msia to see if they still support your genesis amps.

else, if anyone has problems with their genesis, you can contact us at audio creations for repairs. our technician is very familiar and was authorized to repair those amps.

dont worry about repairs, as genesis UK still keeps al the spares and honours all claims and repairs.  new shipment to msia also coming in 2 weeks.  local distributor and their technicians all business as usual.  genesis UK now only does customised high end amps..
