It actually depends on the type of music you listen to and your priorities on what makes a good hi-fi sound. If the laid back warmness of a Tube setup suits you by all means..

Tru Tru ... i am kinda laid - back easy going type of music preference ..

more importantly i focus more on vocal than those bass, although i do prefer it more dynamic sometimes ...

It is without doubt that the particular "distortion" made by a valve setup contributes to the well loved sound.  /66

heh... as the person who started the tube sounds better in the ICE forums... I find that tube's have more distortion at higher volumes. But at moderate volumes it is pretty inaudible so it doesnt really matter.

If the Vacuum Tube is a lie, I suppose many of us here likes the truth?
