let me share u a little bit of my exp on how I waste my RM400...hehe
b4 this, I was using Audio Specialist (ayam brand amp) not sure the RMS power...it says 800watt.so i guess thats the max power. it cannot go 2ohm bridge.
the sub btw is a mowhak classic 180watt RMS 4ohm double coil.so I play it 8ohm coz the amp cannot play 2.
the result...still can boom boom. consume lots of power (my light dim evrytime the bass peak out) but the boom boom not so impresive...dunno where the power went to
the bass not so round.cant feel the lower freq/ vibration. got noise some more.
after changing to a better amp (genesis mono) then I can feel A LOT of differences
my car is shaking, but the lights dint go dim...so I guess the amp use the current efficiently.
even though my sub oso a cap ayam one, but I can feel the sub bass quality improved 40%
now time to change sub mang
