I need help

I'm using Orion XTR 900.2 wanted to bridge it to fire a sub....but it just can accept 8 awg power cables....and dunno what awg speaker cables....Now I got problem with the cables...trying to connect 4awg it too big...trying to use bigger speaker cables also cannot get it....please advice....wanna juice out all the stated 900 RMS power inside....

hi andrew.

i don't see why you can't fit a 4gauge in the connector because many of us previously with the same series (XTR or HCCA) of amps can. you can ask brianchai for pics, he's running the same amp.

the trick is to strip the 4gauge cable new, fresh and not twist it.

otherwise, you can use a power cable reducer such as the one in this link:

honestly, the orion xtr900 sounds more like 500watts. you will not be able to harness 900watts from it. it's loud and can control certain subwoofers but it loses control on demanding subwoofers or difficult music material.
