Topic: Pls advise: Alpine DVA-9965 + 701

Hi all..

I am running Alpine DVA-9965 and now I got a chance to acquire H701 plus  C701 commander real cheap from a friend, my question is can I run 9965 + 701 with Optical cable and Ainet (WITHOUT the C701 commander) and still be able to control the volume?

Reason being me think one deck 9965 + one deck C701 would looks real ugly on my dashboard. 

Can the H701 receive optical signal from my 9965 and at the same time allow me to use Ainet to control the volume?

Is there a workaround?

yes no need c701

9965 can act like c701, can control 701 like 9861 n touchscreen w200 w202 w502 d310 etc

jus hook up ainet n optical n walla !
