i use rs pro but when i heard dls iridium, i feel dls more clear n rileks.

But, I'll go for the Focal Be from the 3 set you mention here.

i got rs pro and now i played 2 way system used pioneer p80RSII and DLS RA50 5 chanel amp. future palning maybe next week i want upgrade 3 way with add doom mid DLS iridium 3'.

for me... i wouldnt recommend 3-way setup unless there is someone that really knows 3-way setup to help you through the process...

for me... stay with the 2-way setup... and play around with your tunings...

maybe listing out your tunings would be more helpful here:
1. xover setting
2. gain setting
3. driver's positioning

actually i got a member that expert in 3 way setup used the passive xover (mid range and tweeter). i cannot play full active coz i,m using p80 and just have 5 chanell of amp.

i like the 2 way setup but the condition in my car is not suitable to play 2 way. it is bcoz i,m using honda ek and the sturucture of dasboard prevent the midbass and tweeter become homogen.
 there got something cancelation in my tuning. so i hope with use midrange can overcome my prob to get the focus of vocal.

okie..out of the three choices..i think all of them are great performers..but it depends on ur liking & preferences..& i agree with craziechild's advice..
tuning always be a major part in ur system..always start with a simple set up & slowly upgrade to a more complex/highend or 3 way setup..& 1 lesson that ive told/experienced is..not all car can play 3 way set up very well..like mine, i drive potong wira & till now am still struggling to find the best tune for my ears..hmmmm guess i need to change car loh..been thinking of switching to vios?hehehe..

p/s: try to optimize on the tuning part..RS Pro is a great speaker anyway..

i know u can suspect me..
now my sistem work perfectly but somebody ofer me iridium 3' with pod rm1k..
so maybe i want to used 3 way la, coz this price include pod.
my major problem is the dashboard honda ek9, its make midbass and tweeter not homogen and sound cancelation happens.
the focus still blur, so my freind's suggestion is add midrange.
ra50 75 wat perchanel can support passive?

actually can ask ur fren to go fly kite better... if with 2 way system u cant get blend and have phase cancellation.... dun expect u can solve the problem by going 3 way

i agree with them completely.i am no sifu but i am a close friend to one sifu.

3 way is very difficult to set up esp when u have a dashboard problem & you want the singer on the dashboard &

the instrument playing across the front area mirror & beyond.

Although i would agree that diff car will have diff acoustic problem, i disagree ur problem is caused by ur 'dashboard' as there are many types of car with roughly the same dashboard design. Midbass at stock door location have their limitation, one is the plastic cover. U can customize ur door panel. Regarding ur tweeter, u can always play around with with the location; stick to the a-pillar with blue tack, stick it on the dash, fire it towards u, away from u, 45 degree aiming for center rear mirror.. etc etc.. which brings me to my next ques... have u tried diff location for ur tweeter?

now i'm using pod to face the tweeter towards to me....straight to my face.
before this i'm place the tweeter face their self ( i'ts on or off axis i'm dun understand).
can i put the grill for the sub? anybody got midbass rs pro?

rs pro if u like dynamic, play lot of rock and hi hop
dls iridium if u play a lot of vocal
focal be if u play a lot of instrumental

of coz depends on what amp as well as tuning

considering your car and system id go for rs pro active with your p80, which has a lot of tuning ability to solve your woes and make the sound better
