Newton, think it's not so recommended to get those springs you mentioned, later lagi lowered la the car ;D I think what built meant by the bush koyak thing is what OSB recommended, you won't exactly hear sound from that, the spring would have actually came out from the assembly especially if the top mount's bush is too thick!

Anyway... i'm not too sure what brands to recommend, but most people have good experience with increasing the rear height of Wira by using the rear springs from Waja.

Waja one also can? Cool...Tried using Eibach for my Wira Aeroback last time. It solve the problem that Fusion had and of course. The car also looks sportier but the backside not saggy already.

Hmmm...the sound i type is just my expression...:P I can be wrong la, because when it happen to my ride i went to the mechanic and he check then he show me the condition of my busy...Ishhhh...Koyak liao. I'm no one to say anything le, better go to the workshop let them check...:)

Grexer, how's the Blade amp going? When can audit...;)

The bushings problem you mentioned is probably those lower arm, steering bushing type i guess, this bushing that OSB mentioned is the upper spring "rubber"

Yeah.. Waja's springs can be used if wanna retain more or less stock height(after loading)

The Blade's i've tried, but so far haven't got time to go Mike's place to try, either he's busy, or i am. ;D

The cheapers solution 1 .. hee hee..  put on top & bottom absorber bush.. cost maybe around RM25-35

agreed ... this would push up the height and also make the ride less bumpy .... but it will not solve any problem permanently esp. when driving and masuk big pot hole ...

rubber bush most commonly used are Mercedes Benz rubber .... can be used in avanza also... for example .... but certain mods must be done accordingly ... not too sure on wira yah ....

eibach will prolly lower ur car, its termed as progressive spring ... many ppl make the wrong move by having eibach springs i.e. lowering ur car ... but with stock or normal abs, hence nice to look at, but the ride is damn hard and sure to hit the firewall ... lowered sports spring must pair with sport stroke abs ... or less the stock / normal abs will koyak overtime also with the eibach / lowered springs ...

Actually, i think that most European coils are still pretty good to be paired with the stock shocks, as that's what they are meant to be used with, except some exceptions like certain H&R and Eibach Sportlines.

The Eibach ProKit is still ok enough to pair with stock shockers.

To resolve any issues... get a set of coilovers.. adjust the height to what you need and you are done... stock looking car

But well... that's actually a good idea, but the problem with getting coilovers, is that 1) it's usually expensive 2) if it's of the cheaper type, it's usually locally made 3) coilovers usually are stiffer than stock unless you can get custom valved units, but then again, it'll be costly.

not too sure about local or japanese cars, perhaps their stock shocks are way stronger, as in conti cars that i have come across, the lowered sport springs are only nice to see .... terrible in rides. to have a balance setup, it is always advisable to match it appropriately with a sport abs...

i wouldn't dare say that all sports or lowered springs are made to work with stock abs, it all depends on the models of the manufacturers ... and also setup / specs provided ...

eiback prokit, i.e. the red packaging one comes with springs, and also springs + abs package, can compare the stock abs with the abs that comes packaged with it and definitely there will be a difference, just that sometimes i wonder how come they sell the springs separately, perhaps a different model ....  /58

either way its a mix and match, sometimes trial and error process unless the setup has been experimented by some other ppl ....  /158

Yea.. that's true, but so far i find that the Eibach/Apex + Koni setup has the best balance for road usage on most of the car models they provide :)

Umm... what is wrong with local coilovers? And it isnt that expensive as well.

For the price of Eibach springs (RM800) and lets say uprated absorbers (all 4, Waja, 1000+) You can get the rear coilovers and change the front shocks

The bush wont koyak easily 1, even local made coz the rubber very thick around 2cm.. this just 1 of option to make your car higher.. there have afew option & depend on your pocket also, how much your are willing to spend..

1) as I said earlier
2) use Waja coil spring, U need to sacrifice comfort
3) use eibach spring & Sach absorber, coz Sach absorber c/w short strut
3) use DA6 absorber + spring, sangat cantik.. if can get Tokico lagiiiiiii cantik
4) use DA7 absorber + spring, to high & Rally look like
5) use SV4 absorber + spring, to hard but best when layan corner
6) Koni/Tein absorber set (non adjustable)
7) Adjustable absorber, dont use High/Low 1 coz usualy this type for street race.. the best use Hi/Low/Soft/hard type

To avoid kruk krek kruk krek sound came from spring, use water hose on top & bottom spring

I have only one thing to say. Stiffer springs + amps =!  /102

Why? The allen keys bolts on my amps are coming out... Iam using 60 series tyres and Eibach... Sakit.. Have to tighten them every week...  /152 /152

Iam thinking of adding some shock absorbent material so the amp seems to be floating...
