Hm... it's most probably the need to change to a stiffer rate spring for the rear absorbers instead. You'll probably need to find those "heavy duty" springs. The reason behind this is due to the increase in weight in the back hence you'll need springs with a higher spring rate so that it'll take more weight to reduce the spring's length(as compared to 3kg/mm and 5kg/mm, it means the first spring takes 3kg to reduce length by 1mm and the second spring takes 5kg to reduce length by 1mm, of course, stock rates ain't that high, that's for an example only)

If you are driving a Wira, the Waja's stock rear springs are good to be used to increase the height of the rear of the car.

But by doing so, there's also the possibility that the rear absorbers won't last as long as it initially would, like the saying goes, you'll always need to have a matching spring and shock combo. ;D

/60 change spring only nia? I know nuts about car absorber and spring. My wife's relative saw my car sagged, concerned the load I carried behind my boot and back seat on my way back to KL from Penang.

Well... it's actually springs that hold the weight, absorbers are to "destabilize" the springs from the upward and downwards motion(hence it's name, absorbers), so... it's actually springs that should be change if you are looking to increase the rear height, definitely with the means of a taller spring, or a spring with a stiffer rate.

I'm pretty sure llsaw can give a good comment on this issue. /77 /64

as for my setup previously, due to my heavy MDF board, amps, batteries, power conditioners, cables, sound proof, etc ...

had to change to adjustable springs (hi-lo kit) and also adjustable sports absorbers from koni ...

it has been almost 2 years plus since this absorb + spring setup is in place until today...

for me, springs actually denotes the height of the car when it is stationary whilst the absorbers determines the ride's (hard/soft) rebound rate... cheers..

1. Remove the same amount of weight to whatever you put into the car.  /77

2. If you load your rear/trunk, try to take out the spare wheel, they can weigh quite a fair bit.

3. If you are hardcore enough, corner weigh the car before you can decide on damping rate/spring rate

4. Otherwise, slap on a stiffer spring & firmer damping damper. Most stock dampers can't last well with additional load.

& all the luck you need.  /77

My vote would be replacing the springs to harder one's, OEM springs is more on the comfort side so it tend to be on the soft side. If possible replace your existing bush also since you're changing springs. One time "Kao Tim"...If bush koyak then u will hear sounds like "Kruk Kruk...Tuk Tuk or Tong Tong" /86 which it really irritates me.../83

Newton, think it's not so recommended to get those springs you mentioned, later lagi lowered la the car ;D I think what built meant by the bush koyak thing is what OSB recommended, you won't exactly hear sound from that, the spring would have actually came out from the assembly especially if the top mount's bush is too thick!

Anyway... i'm not too sure what brands to recommend, but most people have good experience with increasing the rear height of Wira by using the rear springs from Waja.
