Active - clean and clear
passive - natural and live

you forgot add the following:
1. rich harmonics
2. natural timbre (more precise)
3. analog feel
4. shimmering highs!!
5. more weight on midrange presentation
6. thicker and denser lows

note: does not applied to RM1-RM5 caps, RM0.10 resistors, RM1-RM2 inductors, tweeter protection caps or fuse

I thought active is cheaper... but I think im wrong................the cost of buying 3 amps, RCAs, speaker cables and power cables....should have been spent on high quality RCAs, Speaker cables,passive and amp............but then here in Sabah....who knows where to find passives sifu???

Is it a common thing when a person can differentiate between a car that comes with a passive setup & a car that play active by only hearing them? just asking coz am totally a noob on this..
& there is a difference in terms of sound between them right?esp on the tonality part? am now playing an active setup & not quite satisfied with the tonality & the thickness of the vocal produced in my system..will there be any chances on getting that kind of sound?if yes..how?any caps/fuse or things that need to be added?
