budget?

hurm..helo guys..
i dont know if im in the right section..
i wanna ask the most common question for a newbie like me..
what would the total budget car audio system be?
i have a head unit,so what would i want are preamp,amp,monoblock,a sub,and speakers
so could u guys help me to quote and list down the brand for the cheapest but yet worth my money to buy...

8-10k would be a good budget (things you buy and keep) to start with for a good sound system.

wah lao, i also want to know.....

I want cheap, fresh (brand new) and tai tai lap....

joke aside, i guess the best way to start is to join the ICE meet up and auditioned as many cars as possible (help them burn some fuel)...then do a bit read up on the net....with that, you would probably have a gauge of what kind of sound and set up you like...by then, you would also have a better feel about the budget needed to do that kind of set up.....

after you do up your first set, you are making your first step into the ICE journey with many many years to come and many many poison to drink....

One sifu highly recommend you spend more on cables during your first install. For example using min. 4AWG quality power cables. After that you can upgrade equipment till your heart's content without having to touch wiring. Saves you a lot on labour. Choose wisely (dun just go 1 shop), plan (1 set of good comps is better than full set cap ayam) then go for it.
