Topic: upgrade european car sound system

hi guys,

i am seeking some advice before i start upgrading my sound system. i just get my peugeot308 am planning to upgrade the sound system and add in amp.
but i had advice by my salesman don't modify the system, it will shock the wiring or the computerbox. they said it is not like jap car easy to modify.
i need to know is it a true. thank you

Aftermarket car hifi has a totally separate power/grounding/speaker cable on its own. It does NOT interfere with the OEM wiring at all. NO cutting or tapping on the OEM wiring.
So there's no reason that will affect the ECU.

We even did the BMW 6 series without any problem. Added an amp, EQ, and speakers.
