Topic: Passive Crossover Advise for ScanSpeaks Mids & Vifa Tweets

hey sifus,
need help/advise on something.

i'm trying to build a set of 3 way components for my car based on this:

vifa xt25tg30
scanspeak 12m/4631g
scanspeak 18w/4531

since it doesnt come a crossover, i wanted to go for DIY crossovers but ...

in the midst of hunting, i managed to find a set of alpine F#1 z18 3 way passives x-over for a very affordable price.
do you think it'll work for my setup?
i read that the z18 crossover xover is pretty tunable.

just FYI, i'm planning to run it with the below setup:
H/U: McIntosh 406S
Amp for speakers: McIntosh 431M 4x100
Amp for sub : McIntosh 443M 1x300
Sub : IDMAX v3

why not post stuff that you don't understand after
you'd done some searching?

imo, yes... and they are pretty decent. i think they
come with a few sets of jumpers that can be used
for tuning.

you can later follow the pattern/ circuit to build your
own passive with "better" components if you want.

lastly, any reasons why you choose the vifa tweets?
