Can HU bought from US receive our Malaysia FM radio?

hi...i heard before that if we buy HU from US, it might not receive our FM radio station properly...
any inputs?

I think US can. Japan only cannot. My HU also US 1, local stations ok.

US not sure... japan 100% cannot... japan set needs booster if u want to listen to local FM stations.
