How to identify poison?
« on: January 15, 2008, 01:43:54 AM »
Poison...........that's what we're here for. Some are poisoners, some are victims. I am hereby a victim. Know how I know?
I had this thought run through my mind today:

"HEY!!! How come your car can hear all those sounds but my car cannot?"

Same disc, ok? Best part is, the taiko sitting in front shaking his head saying "OO!! Cannot cannot. Don't have this don't have that". This is the other guy's car ah!!! Not mine. My only saving grace is that I listen to a different genre, so if I put my disc in their cars it would sound like crap too. Yea, right. You know who you guys are. Thank you for making me feel better.  If you never wanna fall victim, DON'T put other ppl's disc in your car. Better still, don't go listen to other ppl's system.

So I think I am turning to another level of ICER. "Welcome to the club", I was greeted today. Yup............. sure looks like it. Gotta get them dyns man. I can be Asst. Noisy Music Systems Poisoner (Northern Region). Thanks for the advice guys.

No no.............. I'm not disappointed. Don't get me wrong. Excuse my poor expression skills. The taiko was commenting on the other guys system, helping that guy with his tuning. He lent his ear so to speak. I was given very sound advice by all the guys. I am glad I went to TTs and happy that ppl take the time to teach me new things. They saved me from making a mistake with a new amp choice. I was gonna make a hasty upgrade. That's why I am thankful. I just can't wait for an upgrade. Its just that I discovered where my ICE improvement path should go. Sort of like a goal. Truth is I already felt my system was lacking a few months ago, and that had nothing to do comparisons. I just knew I needed more mids and it was still to bright. This is the journey I am embarking on,  slowly. With fellow ICE friends help and advice, its just easier.

General Krayden, I see you have the 9887. Why not try the Imprint first since you have not realize the full potential of your HU. My experience is that it definitely improves the SQ but you lose all the bass you want in the hip hop or rock. Maybe, that is what they called SQ bass (Bass without impact)
