One more Alpine 7998R Q!

Does the radio anthena goes up automatically when you power up, iregardless of CD, Changer or Radio source? Or does the anthena only goes up when  radio is selected, but comes back down when you select CD or Changer?

I am talking about a unit when it was new of course.

My Alpine 7558E oldie only sent the anthena up when Radio is selected. it comes back down as soon as a Cassette is put in or the Changer is selected.

Thanks for reading, and Happy New Year!

Built, did you see the word OLDIE?

The Alpine 7558E + EGRA320 is still in my storeroom somewhere.
