why waste money on so many RCAs and added speaker cables? go for quality not quantity.

for P80's TA:

the less distance key in into the HU is mean the most been delay is it? example: 65cm is delay more than 100cm.

http://www.etongmbh.de/en/products/car-hifi/multiple-way-systems/rs-161/1/pid/129/

this component i using now...can i cross the hpf of the mid till 31.5Hz? will this action damage the mid voice coil?

cos i heard ppl said when cross too low the mid need more power to work...and if the amp cant supply enuf power, the voice coil will overheat...

HU: p80rs1
comp: eton RS 161
comp amp: 4ch chicken brand (45~50w x 4)
sub: RF p2 dvc
sub amp: RF mono p325.1

no point crossing so low.. you are asking the mid to play sub-bass + midbass + midrange(the most critical freq).
how can a single driver possible to play all these freq and at the same time u r asking to be smooth sounding overall...

its like having a scans revelator tweeter to play 1KHz or 500Hz even though the Fs is 500Hz. the question is does it sound nice for a tweeter to cross at 1KHz even though its possible to do so?
obviously NOT!!...

So the right questions to ask should be:
1. whats the best xover freq for this particular driver to sound at its best?

note: we wann a coherent sounding and all drivers should sing in harmony together..

u mute evrything except ur mids.then try to set it lower slowly.use ur ears to listen whether it can produce the lower freq.if not, then no point setting it too low and ur mids cant produce the sound.in the end, u might have a gap where theres no sound produced on tat freq.normally cross at about 50hz.so u can bring the sub on the front.this is just a generalization.u need to find it urself to suit ur own taste.

Is that ur mid able to go that low?
No point you drive that low if it can't go that low hz. If it can go that 31.5hz(I think did he sub job0 then your sub like useless.
