3 ways passive, both of them power hunger, please advise all sifu

Vifa  F17T   

F17T consist of a 6.5" midbass and 5.25" midrange both made by vifa, and the tweeter is made by scanspeak
Abang adik how to choose ?

The prob is 5.25 Mid-range.. do U have place for it..

Audition before F17T and F1 components, they dont sound the same at all if compared to scans.Just my honest opinion even though we know its OEM from Scans.

Problem is, which Vifa are you comparing with the F17T?

Especially when you are talking about 3-way, what drivers are you going to match and also what kind of passive set you'll be using? As there's really too many different Vifa models around.

bro, people say F17T and you say scan.. F17T is based on Vifas, not scans. The F1 is scans isn't it?

all the sifus have said. imo, the F17T tweeters should be in
a way "better" than the vifas and during the earlier days, 
F17T was flagship model of alpine (before the F1 came out).
It also come with a set of "well designed" passive crossovers
with some flexibility to tune. vifa, i am not sure.

sound wise, i would say depends on your overall set; wheter
they "match" or not to produce the sound to your liking. and
of course, tuning and eq. otherwise, they are lampah, pahlam.

If the Mid-range c/w 5.25", he should be refer to Alpine SPX-F17T... Midbass & Midrange with blue cone..... the old model

Thanks for Sifus input  , I only manage afford for OEM thing cause my budget @ <= 1.5k only. I m not good in Audio world, learning bit by bit, hopefully sifus can leak abit your expertise to benefit Jr here.
I beleave 3 ways passive setup, are not easy to setup, and many things to consider, thinks, calc, .......more things to learn and play. of cause, that wht you said more FAN (troublesome) = More FUN 

My concern
(1) SQ - Vocal & Instrument (Pure Audio) which one better
(2) Passive XO which one better, can get better SQ
(I got no idea about Vifa 6.5" comp. kit, never experience b4)

IMO, u can go for both kit but the determining factor would be the passives. your next upgrade would the passives. get the comps fixed up run them in then look into upgrading the passives. AC can help you with the upgrade but of course the caps and coils used will depend on your budget. A good set of passives will make even the budget comp sound good.
