but this type of cushion material is good, because under the hot sun it can stretch, if u have time go see KF in Aman Suria, they got some samples and very good quality ones like those used in their Jazz ...

Prepare to wrap the pillar with cloth......
use dunlop CA gum....never fails.


Mark cloth with yellow chalk to make sure wrapping method and area. pinpoint wrapping area with pin.


Apply gum with soft brush evenly....press cloth firmly and heat using hair dryer.


Finished wrapping ...wraping is fairly difficult. hence the tired look. still need to sut holes to fit the driver. pillar from side view.





after install...heres the end result.

wrapping is 1 of the most difficult part of this whole diy project besides bodyfilling.....

I've been planning to DIY an A-pillar during my free time as well. May I know where you got your materials from? Particularly the kitty hair, fibresheets/resin and bodyfiller? Thanks.

i think looks cramped because the two speakers also both tua tua liap...if normal tweeter...1" size wan...should be ok ...

Yea, cant see the photo. Would love to see them...

this is my DIY photo. have not completed because the aiming and height is not same on both A-pillar... now need to redo...



how did you do your's for the aiming?
